AeNews Flash - Tsunami Relief Continues at Record Rates
All of us are wondering how the millions of people involved in the disasterous tusnami that spread havoc throughout Southeast Asia earlier this week. The following organizations have proven in the past they can and do deliver the kind of immediate aid necessary right now for the survivors.
Give as you feel led. Already donors from the US have given or pledged more relief for these people than was pleged for the survivors of the 9/11 disasterous attack. The naysayers in the world often refer to the US as a cowardly, bullying and expansionist country, but we consistantly give more to world relief, development and support than any other nation in the world. Once again we are proving liberty and freedom are the basis of generosity.

Quote for the Day
"Great things are not something accidental,
but must certainly be willed."
Vincent van Gogh (1853-1890) Dutch painter
"Perpetual optimism is a force multiplier."
Colin L. Powell, (1937 - )
US Secretary of State, former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff
If you are going to get anything done that is worthwhile, you have to have persistence. To have persistence, you have to have a strong vision. I once heard an author say if you have talent and discipline you will be a successful writer, If you only have talent you might be successful, but if you have discipline, even without much talent, you will be successful. The most important ingredient is diiscipline.
When we practice the discipline of great thinking, our world changes both inside of us and then outside of us.
It's time to get Started! (thinking greatly)

AeNews Flash - Get PC Help for Free
Smart Computing lends a helping hand to techies and non-techies alike
Smart Computing Magazine is one of those gems in the computing field that just gets better and better with age. Their plain english format is easy on the eyes and the brain. Their reviews of hardware and software are some of the very best you will find. They even have both online and offline tips, Q & A's, dictionaries and an encyclopedia of computing info.
Now for the really great part you can get F R E E tech support from them. No need to subscribe to the offline magazine (You should if you want to keep up and learn more about this necessary business tool.). Just call them at
(800) 368-8304 anytime between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m., CST, Monday - Friday and talk to a member of their tech support staff. If you can't call drop them an eMail with your problem details.
Now I know this sounds incredible but they actually recommend contacting them by phone rather than e-mail. They will do everything they can to help you resolve your problem. And this is a F*R*E*E service!
I called the toll-free number and asked how their business model works. How can they afford to give way tech support when the magazine itself costs only $29 annually?
They just say it works for them! I know their business model certainly works for me!
Here is the link to get started:

I hope this helps your computing efforts.

Your Value - How high is it?
The Fundamentals of Sales (Employment) Value
While the following applies to employees, it also applies to your company as well. How well does your company fit with its clients? Are you constantly striving to identify new markets and solutions for your clients. Often you can see a new opportunity for a client before they do. Your suggestion could spark a new relationship with that client and a whole new market for both of you. Asking open-ended questions in the "what-if" area can create the indispensable value you are looking for.
Many issues contribute to your professional value. The fundamentals behind your professional value likely begin with the following:
Externally (among your prospects & customers)
1. how well you and your product/ service help them meet their perceived need
2. the level to which your customers & prospects enjoy working with you
Internally (within your company)
3. meeting & exceeding sales goals (dollars & units)
4. meeting & exceeding activity goals
5. your intangible contribution to your team (attitude-based: do others find you helpful, inspiring, a pleasure to work with, etc.)
6. your level of expertise on your own product/ service and industry
Now put your thinking cap on and start asking the questions that will open new doors of opportunity.
Let's Get Started!
